Ribbon is a recessive dominant mutation meaning it needs two copies to show, Ribbon also needs two copies of silver or flaxen to show. Otherwise, it won't express. Due to this, a lot of Ribbon Beatus are Ribbon carriers. Ribbon is also a remake of the original Ribbon mutation that is now known as Quagga!

Dominant silver[ZZ] or flaxen[ff], silver and flaxen do not need to be visible on the design! So a chestnut with ZZ can still display Ribbon

Blue is the minimum required expression.
Yellow is the maximum optional expression.
